ReVolution 203 5 Questions
As always, these contain spoilers so you know what to do.
1. ReVolution 203 started out with a massive bang. After coming off the biggest win of his PRIME career, Jason Snow gloated like the true bastard that he is, rubbing the victory over Kaiser Vashaun in the face of every fan in attendance. His night was spoiled however, as the Wolves of Slaughter came out and made like Kazys Jankauskas was going to cash in his Universal Championship shot. A perfect scenario considering Snow was on crutches. Unfortunately, for the Anaheim crowd, Elise Ares broke the news that the Wolves had sold the Universal Championship shot. The question is obvious, who do you believe would buy the Universal Title shot, and for that matter who would have the money to do so?
I love the selling of the title shot, especially if it's legit, and Kat is actually giving the title shot up in an IC way so that she can focus on the tag straps and the tag division with Billy. That would be awesome for the division and a truly classy, and unselfish, move on her part. This could be played so beautifully do to the amount of enemies that Snow has that I imagine he'll be going nuts trying to figure out who bought the shot. If Hessian turns out to be the guy with it...WOW.
2. Hessian had inarguably the busiest night of anybody on the PRIME roster. He showed his gratitude toward Tyler Nelson for giving him a shot at the Elite Championship, had a confrontation with Brandon Pierce, came out to cut a promo and was given a reading of The Raven, got into a war with Troy Douglas, managed to pick up the victory, and get arrested in suspicion of a murder. This all happened in one night. First, how do you think getting arrested is going to look in terms of Hessian telling Lisa Tyler that he expects to be treated like the best of the PTC? Second, who in their right mind is going to stalk Hessian considering the massive roll he's been on lately?
I think being arrested is only going to make Tyler need to treat him as the best even more. He's going to be super pissed off about being arrested and then you factor in the stalking and the giant is going to be one dude you don't want to be pissing off if you can avoid it.
I don't know who the stalking is going to turn out to be, I'm sure there are tons of people, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's Chainz. They're both monsters and this would allow for Chainz to decide whose the biggest and baddest of all. Although the sneaking around to stalk him doesn't seem quite like the thing Chainz would do. He seems more like an in your face kind of guy.
3. Tyler Nelson had a rather positive evening in hindsight. He now realizes Hessian is indebted to him and Chainz will follow The Murder Show considering their alliance. That's two powerful big men for the army. The Greediest Player in the Game also has a very intriguing offer from one Chandler Tsonda, who wants to join the party. Even though he lost to Tony Gamble, Nelson has to consider ReVolution 203 a winning night. With the superstars slowly turning against Lisa Tyler, how long will it be before she has to consider Nelson a legitimate threat to her position?
It's a winning night for sure. It goes without saying. Winning the matches was never the big picture for Tyler Nelson. It's what he can gain outside of the ring that really turns his gears. What he got in terms of people wanting to help him in his fight with Lisa absolutely was more important to him than any wrestling match or title. If she doesn't consider him a legitimate threat to her position then she's not being honest with herself. Nelson always has been, and always will be, dangerous.
4. Chainz continued to display dominance by coming out with a victory over Brandon Pierce and extending his winning streak to eight victories. En route to defeating Pierce, the Monster from Hell's Kitchen got into a pretty heated arguing match backstage with The Symphony of Destruction, not backing down from anything Pierce said or did. Looking at the roster now, who is going to come out of the woodwork to challenge Chainz? Considering the role he is on, is it wise for anybody to?
8 straight is mighty impressive. I don't know who is going to challenge him but I'd love to see it be Pierce. i think he could give Chainz a run for his money and could be the person to finally take the mighty man down from this great pace he's on. I wouldn't mind seeing KV do it either. Perhaps a return to the Intense division, that he owned for a while, to prove he's better than anything they've had sense would work wonders for him.
5. In something that surprised...everybody, Tony Gamble returned to action against Tyler Nelson and managed to pick up a victory. Despite all the drama leading up to the contest: Going to the doctor's office even though it was only a blister (albeit it hurt like the DICKENS~!), a back and forth with his Oompa pal and being told he couldn't wrestle anymore by The Man in Black (boooooo), Gamble held his own in the cheating and wrestling department. Is The Gamble back in PRIME or is he going to fade out after a few shows?
I would love to see Gamble back and in full force cause he could once again be a huge player in PRIME. I'd love to see him finally make it into the main events and be the man. I would pretty much mark out, as well, if he's the one who bought the title shot against Snow.
